The Schwaab family has been closely linked with winegrowing on the Moselle for over 280 years. Ancient walls along the vinyard make each wine unique year after year. Growing wines along the steepest terraces beside the Mosel is a tradition that has continued for centuries. The wines get their special taste from the temperate climate moderated by the two rivers, the Moselle and Rhine, which flow through Koblenz. Deep within the valley lies the historic rock-cellar, which was created in 1861. This was formerly a mine and is used today for events and experiences all about wine.
